Stuck in the kitchen to dry off after playing in the rain.

Roxy has a new toy. It’s made of hard rubber and when you throw it or bump it, it lights up a beautiful blue color.

She hasn’t put it down all evening.

I took Roxy to the PetSmart Halloween party this evening.
We saw some good friends like Jersey, who we know from puppy class,

and made new friends like Flash, another beautiful Basset.

They had games and treats for all. It was a good time.
Roxy is such the party girl.

If Only this came in Basset Hound size !

We had to throw away Roxy’s baby blanket today. It just couldn’t handle another washing.
She loved that blanket from the first day she came to live with us.
As you can see here, no matter where I put it in the house, she pulled it to her bed. I think just to let us know it belonged to her.

It may sound silly but I am keeping a little snip of it.
My hound baby is growing up.
