Baily sure is growing up to be one handsome hound. And so lucky to have found the perfect family to love him.

I think every family has it’s issues. Most have at least one or two people that could use a little or more then a little help dealing with things. Even if those people are teenagers who have turned to drugs or alcohol and can’t seem to find their way back. I know I have seen it in our family. It helps to know that there are wonderful places out there to help, like Teen Rehab ECHO MALIBU. I have read only good things about their adolescent programs for drug abuse and alcoholism treatment. They also provide holistic, state of the art treatment for adolescents dealing with mental health issues, and behavioral difficulties.

Echo Malibu teen treatment center believes that effective treatment is rooted in the Empowerment of those we serve. Which means that they work to empower the youth and their families with the knowledge, skills and support systems required to reclaim their lives and live free of chemical dependency.

What a gift to so many families.

Roxy checking our my new granddaughter.

Over the past year and a half I think we have gone through five dog beds. The first one was because I went with the first cute puppy size bed I saw and of course she out grew that in no time, I don’t even think it lasted three months. The second one, I went way too cheap.  I was so mad at my self. I knew with in a week that that bed was not going to last. It was flat and leaking stuffing with in two washes. Then I went to a dog show and purchased what I thought was the perfect dog bed for Roxy. It was round, pink and firm. I had high hopes for that one and wouldn’t you know it, she hated it. So it is now in our basement where Roxy does not go and our cat happily has claimed it as her own. We now have two beds that Roxy uses. One stays in our kitchen, her favorite room. I am guessing because that room holds all the yummy smells. The other is an orthopedic dog bed to help with her bad hips and back legs, and it stays up stairs in our room. I know it must really help her because she prefers to sleep on her orthopedic bed over sleeping in bed with us each night. Before that bed, we were fighting a losing battle over our no dogs in our bed house rule.
Trust me, you don’t have to learn your lesson the hard way when it comes to dog beds like we did. Do your research and shop on line, Oh My Dog Supplies has a great website, and is a good place to start. They sure have a lot of beds to chose from.

When ever Roxy gets hyper in the house we get out her leash and it mellows her right out.

image

Then she gives the “I’ll be good momma, I promise” look until we take it off.
For the life of me, I have no idea why this works. Most of the time I don’t even hold on to the leash, I just clip it on her collar.

If some one asked me about shopping on line for skateboards or skateboard accessories, I would defiantly send them to warehouseskateboards.com . When I first saw the website I thought, wow, what a cool design, the layout is simple and clean yet the colors are modern and really cool. They have an easy to use drop down menu on their side bar that will let you shop by brand, which is really nice if you know what you are looking for or just want to compare products. The website also has easy to find links across the top of it’s main page. Each product I searched for offered a nice color photo that I found very helpful. I mean who doesn’t want a good look at what they are buying before they pay for it it? I found warehouseskateboards.com very customer friendly and would definitely recommend it.

Roxy loves to hide her treats around the house. I have found beef puffs, and rawhide every where from our bed to under the bathroom rug.

This time there is a bully stick hidden some where in our living room. I can smell it and it is driving me crazy!  The smell of old bull’s urine is not my air freshener of choice.

Whatchu Looking At?

Of course when I ask Roxy and say find it girl, go find your treat, all I get is the look.
Like huh? Are you talking to me?

Some times we all could use a little help when it comes to personal finance or Loans, I know we sure have had our share of help in the past. Mortgage Loans are usually the first step in building a secure financial future. Refinance is also a great way for home owners to pay off their personal experiences or make some home improvements.
Even if you struggle with bad credit, most of the time a loan can help rebuild your credit to earn a better mortgage rate in the future. I am a big believer in taking out a loan and repaying it back to improve your credit. It worked for us. Now that we have rebuilt our credit, we can think about refinancing for things we really want.

It’s rainy and gloomy here today. Even Roxy has been spending her day curled up in the lazy boy snoring with no intentions of doing much else.

I often spend a lot of my time on line researching and shopping. Researching how I want redecorate our house when the time comes. I have a plan mapped out for every room. I can’t believe how my taste has changed over the years. When I was young I would have been more likely to shop trendy and fun but now that I am in my thirties I feel my husband and I work way too hard to not shop for well made and luxury furniture when we redecorate.
We both feel that Trump’s central park collection has all the quilities we will be looking for. Also the craftsmanship, detail and high design all combine to bring attainable opulence. This is very exciting and such affordable prices. From our living room to our basement bar stools, they have everything. I feel that after all this time I can stop researching and start buying.

Roxy put this new “long lasting chew snack” to the test.

The package says for large dogs. It feels really hard to me and it’s good in size.

Out of the package and under the table in seconds!

It took her ten minutes to get it this small, another ten and it was gone.

Long lasting? You decided.
