This is Roxy’s over the sholder super model look, we see it often when she really wants some thing.
Some times she’ll even walk in circles before ending up in this pose.

I had to drag Roxy out of my bed this morning! The house had that wintery chill to it and the sun was still down. So I really can’t say I blame her for not wanting to get up. I sure would have much rather stayed in bed. But some one has to go to work to pay for all the food and bones we go through around here. So I had to be the mean doggie momma and pull her down the stairs and in to the kitchen to her own bed. Geesh, her life is hard!

If you live in or if you ever visit us here in Michigan and enjoy fine art, the one place you must see is the Park West Art Gallery. But when I say “fine art” and you are thinking only abstract art or modern sculpture, think again. Think animation!  Hand-signed, hand-painted limited editions of works from both the Disney and Warner Bros.

Park West Art Gallery is also the home to the largest collection of fine arts and conducts their own auctions throughout the United States and Canada with affiliate locations in Miami, FL.

Also housed within are the company’s executive offices, staff offices, fine art storage facilities, an in-house framing facility, restoration studios, research department, digital catalog printing facilities, and the best in customer service. In total, Park West Art Gallery works with more than 400 people internationally, bringing collections of fine art of the highest quality to the world market.

With Cruise ship art auctions that are conducted by their own affiliate company Park West at Sea, even if you never step foot in Michigan, they should be your first thought when thinking “fine art”.

After being such a good girl this year, Roxy is writing a letter and making a wish list for Santa. I’ll be taking her to PetSmart next weekend to visit him and to get her photo taken. I am thinking her list would go some thing like this, bones, food, bones, food and more bones. Maybe a new bed, a new toy and more food and more bones. I am sure she would fit some cookies on that list some where but bones and food would be her first choice I am pretty sure.

This evening during dinner my husband told Roxy to sit and stay. Then after a good half an hour or more, he turned around and she was still in the same spot. Still had her butt on the floor. It was unreal. I can’t believe my hound sat still while we ate dinner in the same room and waited to be released. Allison even walked by with a slice of garlic bread in her hands and all Roxy did was move her nose. She never got up or made a sound. I am impressed!

The rest of my afternoon has been spent with Roxy on my lap, in stead of my laptop. She has been kind of like my shadow ever since I woke up this morning. I can’t help but wonder if she some how knows it’s Friday and I am usually at work and she is usually home alone? or maybe she is just feeling a little needy?  I guess either way she’s happy to have me around today. It’s pretty nice.

What a better way to spend Thanksgiving then watching a dog show? Roxy and I will be on the couch, under the blanket and cheering for our favorites to win this afternoon. Really, I can never pick a favorite, I just love them all.
We are also wishing every one out there a safe and very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you are as lucky as we are to have the day filled with loving family, good food and lots of laughs.

Roxy has been such a good girl . My nephew is over this weekend and for the first time we haven’t had to use the baby gates, not once. Every other time he has been over we have had to keep Roxy separated from the kids because she was just too hyper and jumping on them. Last night when we walking in the door she couldn’t wait to lay down and show my nephew her belly for some rubs and she has spent a lot of her time just following them around. I am so proud of her.

Somebody’s mommy went shopping last night and somebody got a pretty new pink princess collar.
Not that this hound needs proof of her royalty that is for sure. If there is one thing she knows, it’s that she’s a princess.

Somebody’s mommy also brought her princess home two new bones filled with yummy centers, one peanut butter the other beef.

I can not believe it is just about the middle of November already. The holiday season is now just around the corner. Not that I am complaining. I love the holidays. All the fun starts with Halloween for me! The past few years we have had my sister and her family over, it’s always a good time when we are together. Allison and I have so much fun shopping for Halloween, the costumes, the candy and the decorations, all of which we bought at Target this year.
Now it’s just about time for Thanksgiving. One of my favorite days of the year because there is not much that I love more then a full house of family.Of course not many holidays can compare to the warm family feeling of Christmas which sure gets here fast once the season starts. I have already been thinking about what I will buy for everyone this year. My husband is the easy one, any thing for his truck makes him happy. Allison has been begging for an Apple Ipod for a long time. Of course now that I have a new granddaughter, I am so excited to shop toys again. Oh and I have so much fun buying toys and chews for Roxy, I can’t wait to stuff her stocking this year.

If you are like me and love to shop on line you already know how easy it is to click the “add to cart” button. But did you know you can use online coupons to help you get the best price? CouponChief.com is the place to go for all of your online coupons and codes to make sure you save all you can this holiday season.

On my way home from work this evening I stopped and bought Roxy a new bone. A good size bone. She has been running from room to room looking for a place to bury it for over an hour now. She tried the corner of our dinning room first, even leaving it there for a few minutes and walking away like she had done her job. Then she tried behind our living room chair and when that didn’t work she took it to the end of our hallway and decided to munch on it for a while. Now she is back to the dinning room pretending to dig a hole. It cracks me up when she does this. There is no stopping her like she is on a mission

I walked in to our living room this morning and found Roxy sound asleep in her chair and my husband asleep on the couch. They looked so sweet I had to snap a picture.

Sunday morning snooze

Now this is what weekend mornings are all about. Once it snows and we get that winter cold weather, I am sure there will be a lot more weekend mornings like this around my house. Only I’ll be right there watching movies and snoozing with them. Not sure where I’ll fit but I am sure we’ll figure it out some how.

My husband and I are planning on giving our garage a good clean up before winter gets here. Then in the spring we are planning on giving it a real make over so to speak. I can’t believe how much stuff we have cluttering it up that could be put away. Our first step will be to add garage cabinets so we can get all of the gardening tools and all of the kids yard toys up off of the floor. That alone is going to add a lot of space. Maybe after we add the garage cabinets I can talk my husband in to a doggy dog for Roxy?

I slept on the couch last night and Roxy on her chair next to me. I woke up early this morning to my daughter Allison snuggling up with Roxy and telling her how much she loves her. What a sweet way to wake up on a Sunday morning. Then they walked down the hall way to my daughters room and played for a good half an hour. I could hear Allison talking a mile a minute. I wonder what goes through Roxys mind during these play times. It’s either please God, make her stop talking or she could be thinking, my girl, she loves, she really loves me.

Well, surprisingly I did not dress Roxy up for Halloween this year. So I have no photos to share.
My house was just too hectic. I had twelve people over for dinner and to celebrate Halloween. That is a lot in our little house. It was a little crazy at times but a whole lot of fun to. My sister and I walked our kids around four blocks to trick or treat and by the time we got back I was just too wiped out to even think about dressing Roxy.

I know I am bad doggy mamma.

Let’s face it, most of us have had to ask for some kind of help at least once when it comes to money. Looking in to Payday Loan Quotes, just might be the help you need to make your ends meet.
A payday loan or cash advance is a quick and easy way to bridge your cash needs between pay days without a credit check. It is a small short-term loan that can range from $100 up to $1,500. The money can be electronically deposited and repaid from your checking account on mutually agreed upon dates. Help does not get much easier then that!
