Yep, it was a very non-labor kind of Labor Day for Roxy.
Her pretty pink purse was a graduating gift from mom and dad.
We are so proud!
Now we are on to step two, obedience class.
Roxy and her boyfriend Guss.
I love my hound, I really do. Even when she eats too much rhubarb out of our yard and fills her crate with puke and diarrhea while we are at work. I love her even when she takes one step out the door and spreads more puke on the door mat for us to unknowingly walk in. I love her even when she spits out the Kopectate all over me and the floor and then tracks it about three feet as she runs away from me.
I love my hound after her bath when she is all clean, soft, feeling better and ready to cuddle. When she looks at me with nothing but love.
when you have a hound?
When I said beautiful, I should have said freaky!
I think Roxy is enjoying her new big bed.
Tonight is Roxy’s fourth puppy class. I have my fingers crossed that her inner beast takes the evening off. Last week she was the star pup, did everything I asked when I asked and was very well behaved. I was there with my Sweet Princess and we were there to learn. But not so long ago… the week before was a different story. There was barking, crying, pulling, tripping and biting of other pups involved. My Sweet Baby Hound was the terror of the class. So tonight I am praying that we have a repeat of last week and that the terror within my Sweet Princess Basset Hound is gone for good.
