When Roxy was a puppy I use to dress her in the pretties pink outfits. I could always count on her to draw a lot of attention when were out in public. Lots of aww’s and she is sooo cute.
These days I am having a heck of a time finding anything I like to fit her. Most stores stop at size medium when it comes to anything cute or trendy. Hot and sticky summer days

Not much going on around our house lately. Lots of hot, sticky and rainy days. Not that Roxy minds hanging around inside the house and napping the day away.

Puppy care

I can remember the day we first brought Roxy home. She was so little ! We were so excited but it also felt like such a big responsibility. Puppies can be a lot like babies in that way. We had so many question and concerns about everything, from puppy care to dog health. I always had my parents to worry about those issues when it came to the previous dogs in my life. This time we were the parents.

The first thing i did was hit the net for all the puppy information I could find, on the best products and the best nutrition. I even took Roxy to a puppy class. House training was a huge concern. As you can see from Roxy’s puppy photo, I used a crate to help house train her. It work beautifully. I highly recommend getting one. It helped and she loved it, it was like a little place to call her own.

Sorry that Roxy and I have been so M.I.A. lately! Between family issues and computer issues when haven’t had the chance to do much blogging here. BUT all of that is about to change as I am working on some great posts and possibly a new look here at One Foxy Hound.

Ever since I have known my husband he has been really into shooting and other military type past times. He loves to spend a lot of his Saturday mornings at a near by shooting range and when her can’t get out he spends a lot of time searching the net for military accessories and clothing websites. In fact as much as I love shopping online and surfing for new things for the house, he loves shopping for guns and accessories. Roxy was in rare form this morning. First she woke me up way too early. Not even to go out side, she just wanted to wake me up to wake me up. Then not only did she swipe some of my daughters breakfast. She got a hold of mine, ran under the dinning room table and ate my English muffin with peanut butter before I even knew what happened. Good thing she is so darn cute!

Battle for the bed

Roxy was happy to have my nephew sleep in the living room last night. As soon as she saw the mattress on the floor she was in heaven. Until she realized she had to share. Then she did some real sucking up before trying to take it over. A few times throughout the night the hound won and my nephew ended up off the bed.

There’s no arguing with royalty.
