I spent the day yesterday baking with my Aunt, Sister and Step Mom.
Making many Kieflie cookies every year has been a tradition in my Step Mother’s family for generations.
We made traditional nut and a few fruit. All came out wonderful.
The best of all for me was just being a part of things and spending the time with people I love.
I think it might have put me in a holiday mood. Some thing I have been having a little trouple with this year.
Funny how a “little” thing like baking, or a certain smell, or something like that can immediately transform you into the Holiday spirit. I too this year was having serious issues getting int the spirit of things this year until last week when I bought myself some Starbucks Christmas Blend Coffee, just the aroma while brewing immediately transformed me from Grumpy to festive.
