After a nasty afternoon storm I came home from work Tuesday to no power. Our whole neighborhood was out for just over 24 hours.
I can remember a time when that might have been a fun thing, but now that I am all grown up and have to worry about morning alarms for work, and a fridge full of food going bad, it’s not so much fun. 

Besides all of that, I am totally cranky when I can’t get online. Okay, there it is, I’ll say it, I hate to be disconnected, I hate it big time.
